All-Stars
General Information
The end of the 2011 Little League Season is fast approaching which means we are gearing up for All-Stars and Post-Season Tournaments. Being selected for one of these teams is an honor and all out commitment for the parents and players. With San Ramon Little League we are members of California District 57. There are 13 local leagues here in the Tr-Valley that comprise District 57, including but not limited to, Danville Little League, San Ramon Valley Little League, San Ramon Little League, and Canyon Creek Little League.
Each year, at the conclusion of the regular season, we'll be represented by a Junior’s team, a Senior’s team, and our International All-Star teams for the following: 9/10, 10/11, 11/12-(Majors). We will also look at Tournament teams for 9, 10, 11, and 12-year old levels, depending on player and manager/coach interest. The International All-Star Teams will participate in a District tournament and will also be signed up for two (2) other tournaments. The Tournament teams will be signed up for three (3) tournaments each. The Junior’s, Senior’s and the 11/12 year old team may advance to the Little League World Series.
It is expected that every player selected to a San Ramon Little League All Star or Tournament team will commit to any postseason play necessary, including practices and games, throughout the Little League District and tournament period. The time commitment for these teams varies. 10s, 11s and 12s have a formal District 57 tourney Jun 25th through July 14th, and can advance to Sectional and Divisional play, for which out of the area travel would be required. In general, the time commitment is from June 15 through the first week of August, although the 12s, if wildly successful, could play through the Little League World Series at the end of August.

Sunday All-Star Sessions
As a way to kick off our All-Star process this year, we will offer Sunday Sessions. Starting Sunday, May 15th (1pm to 3pm), we will have player training sessions for anyone who is serious about being considered for playing in the post-season. These training sessions will focus on specific baseball skills like base running, outfield work, cut-offs, bunting, and defensive skills – and will NOT include a lot of throwing, pitching or hitting. Please have players report to the following field based on their age group along with the signed Post Season Commitment form. 12's: AD3 11's: AD4 10's: AD1 9's: AD2
* We will hold on-going Sunday Sessions May 22th, May 29th, and June 4th (Optional Days), For more information email post@srbaseball.com
